In the Atlantis episode infection, it is told that Wraith warriors are like animals, unless an upperclass wraith (scientist, commander, king, queen) is around. Yet when Todd is awakened the Warriors still act like animals. Shouldn't they follow in line because of Todd's mental influence?

He was also infected by the Disease and so was the ship which could have impacted his ability to control them.sigpic

I though the disease only weakened the immune system, todd showed no trouble handling the neural interface. Also, it was shown by Michael, that it is possible to control people mentally from far away, like his hybrids from orbit to planetComment

It's probably very draining to control another being in that manor. He probably wasn't strong enough.

I always thought the warriors were kept in line by the whole hive community (some kind of hive mind) and when they are away from the hive, faced ones keep their "own" soldiers under their command, personally.
When practically everyone was sleeping, there was few actives, not enough to keep hive mind strong enough to control soldiers and many of them didn't have their "own" superior officers to keep command.
I don't think Todd would have treated his crew if they lost their telepathic powers and control of the warriors because of it... Unless it was the unseen complication. Also, Todd didn't seem to notice his crew was dead, not before Sheppard told him... Maybe he just didn't try to reach for them before (it wasn't his best day, after all), and he probably thought they were just asleep?Last edited by FromOutside; 13 December 2009, 05:24 AM.
