I was watching a DVD of Little Dorrit last night as I'd missed it when it was on the BBC earlier this year. I was pleasantly surprised to see Eve Myles in it playing Maggy. She was superb.

THE Swansea Valley-born star of Torchwood is turning her back on TV for a while after becoming a mum for the first time.

Eve Myles and partner Brad Freegard are "over the moon" with the arrival of baby Matilda.

"She is absolutely beautiful and we are obviously totally delighted. She is just the loveliest thing ever," said 31-year-old Eve, from Ystradgynlais.
