What are you talking about? Voyager and Enterprise aired on UPN, which reached more people than SciFi, and I do believe it was considered one of the 6 major networks (it was just the tiniest one).

Atlantis = lighter, different Saturday Morning style focus
Universe = dark, edgy, ????
Any thoughts on this?
The reason is television shows rarely get sequels and made into franchises. And just the way they're made, it's not one shot, they got it wrong, they're screwed. They can fix it every season if they feel something isn't right.These are the wrong people... in the wrong place.
