I don't believe they ever off a 'didn't like' as a choice. never have seen it before...

I'm intrigued, while I don't think it is the best teaser ever it has opened up a lot of questions (making it intriguing), just look how many threads there are about the gate from the 2 seconds it was onscreen.

Definately awesome!
It really set the tone for the series, at least the beginning of it anyways.
It seperates its self from it's predecessors quite well, which i think is needed for the growth and expansion of the Stargate franchise.
Another thing is that it lets us know very well that it is breaking the mould that stargate has been following with the statement 'The only mission is survival' This means if they travel through the gate, it's not to establish relations, or to acquire knowledge and be friendly, it's to find means of survival wherein we might see things happen that wouldn't be what was done in the past, they will be desperate and you know what they say about desperate times...
But anyways, those are just a few things that i got from the teaser.
