Sulu and the real USS Enterprise...

Has anyone every heard a story about George Takei "Sulu" running the real USS Enterprise aircraft carrier aground in San Francisco Bay? I heard him tell the story many years ago at a convention in California, but wondered if anyone else had heard about it...
