Stargate - The Last Stand (Updated)

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Well i've downloaded and installed this game and when i tested it it wasn't working because for some reason it can't find the maps and so i can't play it unfortunatly.

Has or did anyone have the same problem or know a way to get it to work ?
If so that would be great!!

Hi Guys.

Thought I would put up a quick post to make everyone aware of a Stargate modification called Stargate: The Last Stand that has actually been out for some time now, for a game called Half-Life 2.

Our Goal is to bring back more players to the game and to get new players into the game that did not know about it. Both fans of the Stargate franchise and players of HL2 and its various mods. It is our hope that with new interest the original Developers of the game will consider going back and adding new content to the game, Mappers will come on board providing us a source of new maps that stay in line with Stargate Cannon as much as possible, and we will be able to fill the various servers for the game around the world so no matter what a players location or time they will be able to get an exciting gameplay experience.

Stargate: The Last Stand is free to play over steam which is also free, so no cost and the game is easily ran on most specs of computers.

This is a really fun game. It is COMPLETELY FREE (nothing is needed other than a steam account and the FREE source sdk) and most modern computers should be able to run it since it is based of source engine circa 2007.

We are reviving Stargate: The Last Stand!

Stargate: The Last Stand (or short SGTLS) is a stargate mod based on the Half-Life engine that focuses on Goa'uld vs Tau'ri first person combat.
No base game is required, the mod is completly free and runs without having to buy any game!

We have started a new dedicated server that runs 24/7 in europe and a website dedicated to the mod.
At the moment there are 2 servers online (with probably more to come within the next few weeks).
