Problem with EatG it had a lot to prove. It was the season and series finale, along with being the 100th episode. I think if it was a season finale it would of gotten a lot better feedback from people. People have to understand, the ratings jumped big time, they thought there was going to be a 6th season. They even had the story for the Season 6 premiere ready to go. I think Season 5, for the last 2 eps were brilliant, but I wanted a 6th season. So much more potential.

Why do people need to understand that? Ideally, every episode should be written to be the best it can be, not the best considering the circumstances, or the best considering the effort the writer may or may not have felt like putting into it. As a viewer, my only concern is how much I personally enjoy the episode. If it's lacking, it's lacking regardless of whatever off-screen excuses are offered.

People did not expect the mid-season eps to be that strong, but they were according to a lot of folks here.

So yes, people, do need to understand that. Expectations were very high for Eatg, and I knew a very small bunch were not going to like it.

The writers should make a story sound AMAZING in the scenes to next week and reading the promos for the episode.... I should have been really excited about the episodes I said I did not want to watch, but I was not...so to me that makes them a bad episode.

I watch ALMOST every episode of NCIS and CSI's and LOST and all the other shows I love, but even those have episodes that I have no desire to see.

On the other hand I could say that it is TPTB and TWTB fault for not making a story that "I" want to watch!
