yeah! I mean 5 years is something to be hugely proud of but honestly I am surprised by the decision. because the show was doing really well in the ratings and it's a good show

I am just as surprised, record ratings this season and the show is being canned. *sigh*.

Please knock it off with the "record ratings" talk. From Joe Mallozzi's blog a few days ago:

I'm going to miss the show, but frankly, TPTB tinkered with it too much the last two years. Too many character changes killed it and it is totally different from what it was. I thank those who worked on this show the first three seasons. . .when it was good.
