    Teyla's Revenge

My english is a little rusty at most.

Disclaimer: Contains spoilers for Enemy at the Gate

    Prologue

    Atlantis City
    Central Command Tower
    San Francisco, CA
    1200 Hrs

John Sheppard turn the television on in the cafeteria, he put on CNN on and sat down. It was showing a row of American Naval ships and Cobra gunships blockading the Quarantine Zone from the prying eyes of the reporters and new choppers. Some of the conspiracy theorist suggested that the US government is hiding a secret prison to house terrorist and torturing prisoners for information. John just nod his head and turn around to see Ronan and Teyla.

“Chewie, Teyla.” He turns the television off and walk with them to the balcony.

“We wish to see the city sights.” Teyla ask her friend.

Sheppard knew what Teyla meant and he too wants to get off the city and visit his brother but the IOA has informed Woolsey that the review board should be arriving soon. “As much as I like to go on shore leave, Woolsey tells me that the IOA review board will be arriving soon.”

“Again, did we did that last year?” Ronan asks.

As they discuss the inadequacies of the IOA for the last five years, Technical Sergeant First Class Amelia Banks with a tray with salads, sandwiches and tea, she was on her way to her friends when Ronan spotted her.

“Amelia, come sit with me.” Ronan hollered.

“So, how are you to getting along.” Sheppard ask with a grin.

“We’re friends.” Ronan tries to deny it.

    “Right.” Teyla grins.

Amelia places her tray besides Ronan and quickly sat down. She looks at him and gave a peck on the cheeks.

John and Teyla look at each other and giggles; they never saw the other side of Ronan before as Amelia and Ronan are locked in a romantic embrace.

“When’s the wedding?” John jokes around as he took a sip of water.

As soon as John place the glass back on the table, the city started to shake. Klaxons went off, as standard procedure; everyone leaves what they are doing and go back to their duty station. As For Lt. Colonel John Sheppard the 2IC of the Atlantis Base, Technical Sergeant First Class Amelia Banks the Operations Officer in the Control Tower, they got up from seat and ran to the nearest transporter. As for Ronan and Teyla, they just follow their team leader.

It wasn’t long to get to the Control Tower, with the transporter system; it took them instantaneously from the east pier to the Control Tower in seconds.

“I want a sit rep.” Colonel Sheppard orders Tech Sergeant Chuck Jones as he walk up from the Stargate Operations to the control center, he could see smoke rising up from the window.

“Sir, the Navy tries to stop a small speed boat trespassing through the quarantine zone.” Chuck shows the schematic of the City on the monitor. “It hit the east pier observation deck before the boat exploded.”

“Any casualties in the area you speak of?” Teyla ask.

“Yes ma’am, but I am sorry.” Chuck look down as he tries to tell her. “Kanan and your baby was the only casualty.”

Teyla anger started to rise as she tried to breathe it out. “Do you know who is responsible?” As she tries to grab Chuck by the collar but stopped by John gave her a loving embrace to hold her back.

“A group called PINK and United for Peace.” Chuck tries to reassure Teyla that he will find out more.

John guide Teyla to Woolsey office and sat her down as Ronan and Amelia tries to comfort her with the lost. Since Woolsey is in Washington trying to buy time from the IOA representative stepping into Atlantis, John sat down on Woolsey chair and ponders what to do.

    The White House
    Washington D.C
    January 21, 2009

President Demetrius Holly had been rather busy of late dealing with the Democrats at the Capital, and their most recent suggestions of budget cuts. In his campaign promise to withdraw from Iraq is somewhat slow. He checked the defense budget and something caught his attention, a project that cost taxpayers billions of dollars and he doesn’t know what it all means. Although he has been in office for a week and the transition team from the Hayes administration has been rough, but the defense budget became his first priority. Then he was safe from further thought when the intercom rang and his secretary spoke.

    “Mr. President.”

    “Yes Abigail?”

“General Jack O’Neill is here to see you.”

    “Let him in.”

General Jack O’Neill entered the oval office carrying a briefcase of classified files. Usually General Galloway; the Chief of staff of the Air Force briefs the President of the United States but he lost his bet when Atlantis showed up a couple of days ago.

“General O’Neill is it?” The President asks as he stands up. “How can I help you?”

“Sir, what I about to tell you are top secret.”

    “How top secret?”

After disclosing the new President of the Stargate Program, Atlantis landing in San Francisco Bay and the enemies like the Wraith and a possible skirmish with Gao’ulds and Rogue Asgard; the President himself just laughs until the two beamed into the Tzun Tzu Bridge.

“Where am I” The President asks as he turns around and saw space through the view port.

The Chinese crewmembers and Colonel Xhosa stood to attention and saluted General Jack O’Neill, but disregard the first African American President Demetrius Holly since he is not their leader.

“At ease,” He ordered the crewmember in Mandarin. “We are on the Tzun Tzu orbiting Earth.”

“How did the Chinese get a spaceship?” He said under his breath.

    “Sir” Jack asks.

“This is where the missing billions of dollars go.” The President said as he browses the bridge. “If you ask me, this not worth it and I will not renew the Gate Alliance Treaty.”

“Sir, we’ve been keeping the Earth safe for the last 14 years and now we have the capability to safeguard the whole galaxy from…” Jack interrupted by the President.

“General, I don’t want your speech and it will not change my mind. My first priority is to help the middle class in the United States of America not the damn world.”

The President disappeared in a beam of light causing Jack to breathe a sigh of relief. Somewhat, the new president needs to straighten his priority. If he continues to cut the defense budget, maybe he will persuade former President Henry Hayes to talk some sense out Demetrius Holly.

    “Colonel, beam up Henry Hayes.”

“General, you’ve got an emergency call from Atlantis.” A communication officer reported.

As soon as Henry Hayes materialize in the bridge, wearing fishing gear and a tan hat and approaches Jack with a disappointed face.

“Jack, why was I beamed up here?” Henry asks.

“Hold on sir,” Jack said as he continues to order the communication officer to put the call from Atlantis on the speakers.

“General, 1200 hours yesterday; a speed boat carrying peace activist and Code Pink slam into the east pier. The boat exploded killing Teyla’s baby and Kanan.”

Jack and Henry did not like the news at all. Jack wants to know how the small speed boat passes through a naval blockade. He didn’t have to say it but John knew what to report.

“From what Admiral Whitmore told me, the new President adamantly wants the quarantine zone lifted as soon as possible.”

Henry Hayes taps Jack on the shoulder signaling him that he wants to talk.

“President Henry Hayes here, you can tell Admiral Whitmore that the quarantine zone stays and if the new President Holly have a problem with my standing orders, he knows where to reach me.”

    “Yes sir Mr. President.”

“Tell Ms Teyla that I am so sorry about the lost of her only child and partner.”

“Thank you Mr. President.” A different voice came on.

“Jack have full authority to investigate and apprehend anyone responsible for the despicable act under Presidential order Sierra seven four delta nine.”

S74D9 is a secret presidential order given to Special Operation Comand.

Interesting idea. Although I'm not quite sure if you're supposed to put an actual story in the forums. Oh, and it's spelt Ronon, not Ronan.
Why isn't this up at fanfiction.net?

                Chapter Two

                T –Minus 22 Hours

                Bunker
                The White House

After President Demetrius Holly was released from the infirmary only to be escorted to his underground office and locked in, he sat at his desk to ponder what to do next. After learning a great deal of truths and half-lies about the secret programs the US government had been running for so many years, he decided to make them pay by disclosing it to the public about the mismanagement of taxpayers dollars during President Hayes administration. True, it may have been petty and puerile a thing to do for political gains, but he had to show Hayes that the ball was now in Holly's court. He looked to the red phone and placed the handset against his ear only to find no dial tone. Irritated, he then checked his pocket for his blackberry and promptly finds all his pockets were empty, no wallet or blackberry.

In a state of agitation he paced around until the secret service who was guarding the room opened the door. Now it’s his chance to escape from his captors. He politely approached the black-clad agent with a smile, opened his mouth as though he were about to ask a question and instead sucker punched the agent promptly following it by a right-hook to the face, knocking the agent unconscious. He frantically searched the insensate agent's body for a weapon but only found a 9mm pistol with a red crystal embedded on the bottom of the butt of the gun. He released the clip and noticed red tipped bullets inside it. He discounted the oddity as something to do with how The Secret Service did things...

“This will do.” He said. “All that exercise wasn't for nothing at least.”

He made his way towards the elevator and found two armed Marines guarding the area. He aimed the pistol and pulled the trigger. The red bullet flew from the muzzle with a peculiar red glow as it flew towards the marines. One bullet each hit the marines in the chest. Holly then ran to the elevator and checked the marines for bullet wounds and found no physical signs of them being shot... like a blood pool. Carelessly leaving the two men to whatever fate the gun did to them, He stood up and pressed the button to go up from the bunker but to no avail the elevator refused to respond. That's when he noticed that there was a retina scanner. He struggled for a moment in dragging up the marine and placed his chin on the rest and carefully opened the eye to the gaze of the scanner, that responded by opening the elevator doors.

Though just before he could step into the elevator, a white beam of light washed around him and everything disappeared from around him in the light, moments later he found himself facing the very stern visage of the Gate Alliance President.

                President Hayes Office
Battle-Cruiser Tzun Tzu, in geosynchronous orbit.

President Henry Hayes quickly found himself infuriated at President Holly and his unwillingness to to see reason. He never liked the attitude of the man who simply refused to listen to his advise during the transition. How could the 61 million Americans possibly of voted for a man who is so damnably naïve and clueless to the success that he made. But the campaign nothing more than spin and hype utilizing catch phrases, where Demetrius Holly who ran against Republicrat Jacob McKann; told the American people that a vote for McKann was simply a vote for Hayes and he knew it to be untrue.

“I have never been so thoroughly disappointed at you Demetrius,” Hayes started saying. “I never expected this from a world leader but you take the lead of idiot.”

                “Excuse me?!” Holly shot back.

“You heard me.” Hayes slammed his fist on the desk that scared the hell out of Holly so much that he jumped. “We were trying protect you from an invasion and you have the balls to try to escape!”

“I have to tell the people the mistakes that your administration brought during the last eight years!”

“Bull****!” Hayes yelled at the incoming US president. He never used that tone before but the attitude from the current President unleashed that emotion that had been bottled up inside. “For the last eight years, I’ve trying to keep the US and the planet safe from Terrorist -AND- Aliens! Aliens that would either see you as a slave or a tasty meal! I inherited it from the last President who didn't seem to know what to do with the SGC our extra-terrestrial allies and the hordes of aliens that are pounding at the Gate!”

“It seems that I struck a nerve.” Holly said as he started to gloat. “President Holloway did the best he could given the circumstances.” he said folding his arms over his chest in a self satisfied way.

“Can you -POSSIBLY- get your head out of your ass?!” Hayes responded. “Do you think this is a game to you? President Holloway let down the country with scandals and budget cuts to our defenses that very nearly led to a successful Goa'uld invasion!”

Holly giggled lightly and paced around the deck in front of the President and then stopped at the window enjoying the vast void of space and the glittering stars. He took a look back at the President. “What you're doing right now is uncalled for, America should not putting the bill to this interstellar alliance scheme. We have our own problems on Earth.”

“We were about to disclose to the public for what we’ve been doing for the last 15 years, I wanted you by my side to reassure the American people.” Hayes stood and went up to face Holly closer. “But you left me no choice but to place you under arrest for the time being.”

“You have no authority to that!” Holly protested as two Chinese and one Russian guard opened the hatch and walk in with handcuffs and other restrained equipment.

“If you were bothered at paying attention enough to actually read the Declaration of the Gate Alliance Treaty Organization, then you should know that I have the authority to arrest any world leaders who interfere with the security of this Alliance.” Hayes said as he handed the folder containing a copy of the Declaration and Constitution to the guard.

                -Earlier

                NCIS
                Navy Yard – Virginia

Tony had been staring at Ziva for the last couple of minutes, he was trying to find what he found so alluring about her since he realized he was finding her more... interesting... Although he never would dare to reveal his true feelings toward anyone he worked with as fraternizing at work is a penalty of termination. As he rolled a quarter on top of his knuckles, Gibbs walk by his desk and seeing Tony doing nothing whacked him in the back of the head. Tony reacted quickly enough after the slap and resumed his work by typing on the computer keyboard.

“Gear up, we have two civilians dead in San Francisco Bay.” Gibbs said blithely as he opened the drawer to his desk and pulled out a badge and a gun. He holstered the gun and put the wallet in his pant pocket and took a look at the team.

McGee was confused why he was going to San Fransisco Bay since it wasn't in their jurisdiction. Tony on the other hand had a curious look on his face as he holstered his weapon. Ziva for that matter had no questions but to do her job as best as she could.

“Boss?” Both McGee and Tony responded in unison, then shooting each other an annoyed glance.

“Admiral Whitmore wanted the best and he called me.” Gibbs pick up his backpack and wore it.

“How do we get there?” Ziva asked.

As they headed out to the elevator and out of the building, there was a vehicle waiting for them. As they got in, the driver drove to the nearby hanger.

As they got out of the car and into what seemed to be an empty hangar bay, a puddle jumper suddenly decloaked right in front of them with the rear ramp open. What’s waiting inside for them is Admiral Whitmore and a male Air Force officer in his dress blues.

McGee, needless to say, was very surprised when the Jumper decloaked, he had always held suspicions that the Air Force was up to something when the Nimitz battlegroup was destroyed a couple of years ago. Tony didn’t care much about science but he did think that the Jumper was 'Cool' and so his gaze never darted away from the Jumper. Ziva for her part just took a look at the two guys as they slobbered over a piece of alien technology she'd read about. She knew it was all true and never doubted it. She was a big fan of Doctor Daniel Jackson’s book years back before he literally disappeared off the face of the earth.

The Admiral approached the agents with a handshake. He knew who to pick and why he picked them. Then he introduces the male Air Force officer. “McGee, this is Colonel Davis from Home world Security.”

Tony tried to correct them. “It’s Homeland Security, Sir”

“Actually Homeland is a cover story for Home World Security.” Colonel Davis corrected the Agent, he read his file and his obsession with movies. “Can you please follow us?”

As they walked inside to the Jumper, McGee began to ask the Colonel lots of questions very quickly pertaining to the Ancient transport ship. “What can you tell us about this?”

“Agent McGee is it?” McGee nodded and Davis continued with a ****-eating smirk. “That's... Classified.”

And that was the end of that as the Jumpers rear hatch closed and the ancient flying machine began to hum with liftoff.

Hey Phoenix, thanks for the review. I guess I like political drama.

                    Chapter Three

                    T – Minus 21 Hours

                    Battle Cruiser Tzun Tzu

                    President Hayes Office:

President Hayes gave a sparing glance at his wristwatch and noticed that it was only 3 o’clock in the afternoon. As he sighed, The ship’s attendant placed a cup of coffee in a fine china cup in front of him. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome Mr. President.” The female attendant responded as she bowed her head.

“Was I wrong arresting President Holly?” Hayes asks the attendant in a rare moment of self-doubt.

“Can I speak freely sir?” She ask and Henry nod his head and she continue. “You did what you had to do, I never liked the guy and I certainly didn’t vote for him. His attempt to dismantle the CIA interrogation tactic by the use of the MRD is downright dangerous and cutting the defense spending will soften the US and leave the world vulnerable to off world attack.”

“Thank you for your wonderful insight.” Hayes said as he took sip a cup of the wonderfully aromatic hot coffee.

                    “Will that be all sir?”

“Yes, on your way out, can you let General O’Neill, General Xinhua, General Morgan and General Travosloski know that I am ready for them?”

“Yes sir.” The attendant saluted to the Commander in Chief pf The Planet Earth and respectfully headed out of the door.

                    BRIG:

The cell in the brig was a little different from those on the Daedulas and the Apollo. There are no cell doors but rather a force field to keep the prisoners inside. The brig was also separated from ship’s main power generator, in case the ship would have a sudden catastrophic power outage, the brig wouldn’t be effected by the power outage.

,,Ahaha, Ach so! Das isch so sehr urkomisch!” The German Security officer said through his laughed at the joke the other Security officer said.

They didn’t really need to watch the prisoner occupied in one of the cells every second while the surveillance feed is recording. But sometime they lowered volume setting when the prisoner was ranting.

Then the door to the holding area opened and two men in the ever ubiquitous black suites walk in. The Security Officers stood up and salute to the two men in suits.

“Premier Zhu, Chancellor Von Mainz, May I help you sirs?” One of the officers said haltingly.

Premier Xhu, the leader of The Peoples Republic of China and Chancellor Von Mainz of The German Federal Republic had beamed onboard the Tzun Tzu by Hayes request and heard of the arrest of President Holly and wanted to see the prisoner. They had some free time when before the disclosure of Atlantis for World-Wide press conference.

“We'd like to see President Holly.” Chancellor Von Mainz said in his deep timber.

                    “Yes sirs.”

As they lead the two World Leaders to Holly’s cell, they begin to laugh. Holly didn’t know what they laughing at but he reasonably assumed that they were laughing at him.

“Laugh it up, when I get out of here…” Holly threatened as he played with a rubber ball, bouncing it against the wall and then the force field. But the force field shot the ball back at Holly and hit his head. “Ouch.”

The two world leaders laughed even harder at the spectacle of Holly making himself a even bigger fool. If that were possible.

“You think you are getting out of here?” Premier Zhu responded. “What makes you think you getting out of here?”

“Interfering with galactic security is a serious offense,” Chancellor Von Mainz said as he pointed to the file folder resting on a nearby table. “You should know that if you bother to read Article 10 section 22.

President Holly grabbed the folder and read it. “Articles of Impeachable Offenses.” As he read through the document and closed the folder and placed it on the floor, he looked at the two world leader with a slight grimace on his face. “I did not interfere with Galactic Security. No way and no how.”

“Did you sign the bill that cut the defenses of your country?” Premier Zhu asked the naïve young man that by a fluke of politics somehow was elected to the Seat of the Presidency of The United States.

“Yes I did against the advice of the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.” Holly admited his actions. “I was doing the American people a favor by pulling my troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan and ending both wars.”

“Then read Article 8 under Earth Security Initiative.” Chancellor Von Mainz said with a roaring basso-laugh.

Holly turned the pages and read the ESI that was established a month before he took office. If he had even bothered reading the entire document, he wouldn’t waste his time appointing people in office.

Premier Zhu looked at his watch, he had fun laughing in President Holly's face but he had somewhere far more important to be, and so he tapped Chancellor Von Mainz that it was time to go

“Where are two going?” Holly asked with more than a slight tone of nervousness in his voice.

“Oh, we are going to a press conference down on Atlantis. Tschäu erstmal!.” Chancellor Von Mainz responded flippantly and turned to Zhu and whispered “Arrogant *******.” As they walked out of the room and on their way to the bridge of the ship.

                    Earlier

                    Atlantis City

                    San Francisco Bay:

Sheppard was bored out of his wits as he spun around the cushy leather executive chair. He noticed Ronon approach the office but stop at Banks console station. He wondered what they are saying as he saw Amelia smiling a great big toothy smile. He put his listening device that he gotten from an infomercial and turn it on.

“So, what are you doing tonight?” He asks Amelia.

“isn’t it obvious silly?” she said coquettishly

“No.” Ronon replied in the typical way of a man.

“Uh God, will you two get a room?” Chuck said as he head into his office. “Sir.”

John quickly took off the earphone and hid the listening device. “Yeah Chuck.”

“The Jumper carrying NCIS agents and Admiral Whitmore should be docking in the Jumper bay right about now.” Chuck reported and head back to his station

John walked out of the office and tapped Ronon on the shoulder to follow him to the Jumper Bay. As soon as they arrived in the Jumper bay, the Jumpers ramp-door lowers open. John immediately stood to attention and saluted the General.

“Colonel John Sheppard, Ronon.” Colonel Davis approaches the two with the Admiral and the NCIS agents. “I like for you to meet Admiral Whitmore, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Agent Tony DiNozzo, Agent Timothy McGee and Officer Ziva David.”

They shook hands and made the typical exchanges of pleasantries as they headed down to the operation center.

McGee was living up to his childhood dreams as he watched the technicians working on the Ancient consoles and controls. “Colonel, how come the city of San Francisco couldn’t see the city from afar?” McGee wondered aloud.

“It’s cloaked. Invisable to the naked eye and most sensor systems” John said with more than a little reluctance.

“Why is there a full military contingent from other countries?” Ziva asked as she saw an Isreali flag on a shoulder patch on a scientist.

“Oh, President Hayes is going have a press conference soon and my second in command is really busy with security of the base.”

“You mean President Holly?” Admiral Whitmore tried to correct him.

“Uhm no, President Hayes ordered him arrested for interfering with Galactic affairs.” Colonel Davis inform the group.

“He can do that?” DiNozzo said. “Never liked the guy and his campaign remind me of the Manchurian candidate.” He shook his shoulders in disgust.

Jethro on the other hand was all business and was keen for the investigation to begin and also he was just being “Gibbs” and he is not into small talk. “So, where do we set up?”

“In the auxiliary conference room in the east pier 4 decks up.” Sheppard said as he guided the NCIS agents down to Stargate operations and into the corridor.

As they left the Operation Center, Colonel Davis and Admiral Whitmore stayed behind. They were supposed to meet with the Presidents of the Alliance and other world leaders.

“So, President Holly arrested?” Whitmore ask Davis and sighed. “I couldn’t take his laughable idea of defense policy any longer.”

“You won’t have too, what President Hayes is going to do is to have full disclosure of the secret programs we’ve been running and integrating all the world’s military forces and branches into one cohesive armed forces under a singular command.”

As they were looking down at the Stargate from their vantage point of the balcony just outside the CnC room, a beam of bright white light appeared accompanied by a soft musical note, and then disappeared to reaveal five men in suites that had appeared.
