It the cylons that made the pilot interesting and watchable. As long as they are in every episode I will be force to watch. I think I will skip the ones that they do not appear in. Which unfortuantly will be most of episodes I reckon.

SDCC 09: Building The First Cylon On Caprica
The creators of the new Syfy channel series, and Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica were on hand at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con as part of a joint Caprica/BSG: The Plan panel. Also on hand, along with the aforementioned Caprica think-tank Ron Moore, David Eick and Jane Espenson, was series star Esai Morales, who plays Joeseph Adama, BSG's William Adama's (Edward James Olmos) father. Yes, Caprica is set squarely in the BSG universe, but it predates the fall of man, or the beginning of Galactica by almost five decades.
