It the cylons that made the pilot interesting and watchable. As long as they are in every episode I will be force to watch. I think I will skip the ones that they do not appear in. Which unfortuantly will be most of episodes I reckon.

I actually was surprised how much I enjoyed the story in the pilot. And it wasn't just the Cylons that did it for me. I have high hopes for this show.

While a little slow-paced at times, I did get into the story. I am very interested to see what they can do with this show.

SDCC: Ron Moore on why Caprica moves beyond Battlestar

We got to sit in on a roundtable discussion with Ron Moore, the man behind the re-imagined Battestar Galactica, to talk about its prequel, Caprica, at Comic-Con on Friday, and he offered us some info about the challenges of the new show, why science fiction makes it easier to deal with touchy issues without repercussions and whether he'll continue with his famous podcast.

                              continues:

SDCC 09: Building The First Cylon On Caprica

The creators of the new Syfy channel series, and Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica were on hand at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con as part of a joint Caprica/BSG: The Plan panel. Also on hand, along with the aforementioned Caprica think-tank Ron Moore, David Eick and Jane Espenson, was series star Esai Morales, who plays Joeseph Adama, BSG's William Adama's (Edward James Olmos) father. Yes, Caprica is set squarely in the BSG universe, but it predates the fall of man, or the beginning of Galactica by almost five decades.

                                continues:
