In the mess hall scene when McKay and Sheppard are talking about trying to find Ronon, and McKay mentions trying to bathe and the Eureka moment and Archimedes, did Sheppard really say "You mean the Greek scientist who knew I had a crush on Teyla?" or was it just me?

I thought I heard it the first time I saw the ep but it was on TV again recently and now I'm sure he said something along those lines. Can anyone clarify this?
