It's a hard question to answer as it's very subjective. Something one person likes may be hated by others. I've only read the SG1 books but they are all good. The ones I like more might just be down to which characters are more central to the plot or which races they are dealing with. Rosewell deals heavily with the Asgard and historical events, I liked it but you might not.sigpic

Any of the ones published by fandemonium. Go to www.stargatenovels.com and you will find almost all of the ones that have been published there. And since I said read em all, I won't list the titles, because I have read them all and basically like everyone of them.
And if that doesn't quench your thirst chech out the fanfic recommendations on gateworlds forum.Last edited by gatechick; 14 November 2008, 11:49 AM.

I really enjoyed,
A Matter of Honor
Cost of Honor
Barque of Heaven
Alliances was pretty good but not as good as the top three I listed.
Those three novels really captures the SG-1 spirit imo. I have read many of the others and have not been impressed.Last edited by HirogenGater; 17 November 2008, 01:56 PM.

As Mousie said, every answer will be very subjective. In fact, HirogenGater is the first one I hear of that actually liked "City of the Gods", so far everybody agreed that it was the worst book of the series.
So how shall we know what would fit your interests?
I absolutely agree with "Barque of Heaven", though. The only book that I have nobody heard say anything bad about yet. One of the reasons we all like it so much is that the team is together from the beginning to the end, and has to go through the adventure together, and everybody brings in their special skills to help keep going.Funny pictures with Stargate-Actionfigures at http://dieastra.livejournal.com/
