Does anybody else think the part where amanda tapping's character was talking to the phyiciatrist (sp?) was a strikingly familiar scene from the orignal stargate movie? With him in the rain, looking a lot like daniel jackson mind you, and having someone talk to him crypticly about a job they want him to take, and also he has been riticuled by his peers and disliked. And he is also not showing much interest for the job too. hmmmmmmm........

i was afraid he'd be replaced. and after not hearing/reading david talking about making it again... yes, sad.

but i'm hoping he'll be in season 2 of the show! and as someone else... maybe someone more suave and sexy? and maybe be a semi regular?

David Hewlett was the original accused murderer.
he played a semi-insane man who saw people as conduits that he thought where trying to take his energy, so he killed them.
Very sketchy guy, great performance by David.

And let me guess, you can't download the webisodes anymore? I would have loved to have seen David do a semi-insane guy again. He does them SOOOo well.

I think McGillion was in webisode 6, which I don't think is available anymore.


I think they handled getting Will into the Sanctuary better this time than in the webisodes, no kidnapping and such. Though I wish they'd kept Helen's 'A friend, I hope" line when Will asks who she is.

it's very intersting so far... and this comes from me... and i didnt watch the webeps (due to dialup ect).. but it looks to have a good start... plus i like seeing AT having the British accent...

ok, so no kidnapping by druitt, rather druitt has been captured by ashley

cute scene with helen and the mermaid, guess they were/are confidants of some sort

Sweet! Druitt mentioned 'The Five'!

It does flow much smoother than the webisodes, they're making good use of the extra time I think.

I liked the scene with Helen and the mermaid too. I wonder if the she somehow sensed the disturbance in the EM shield, high-pitch frequency or something.
