    Season 9 officially announced

    More Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1:
    Sci Fi Channel has renewed dramas Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1, with production on 20 new episodes for each series set to begin in March 2005. The new episodes will debut this summer.

    sweet news, though they don't give any details...

      There were three threads already saying the exact same thing and the mods merged them.

      Go over to the SG-1 and Atlantis Renewed thread or a mod should come over here and doing the merging again lol.

          OK, so S9 is on. All I will say is that with RDA limited to 4 eps and AT's time limited to an extent because of her kid, unless they bring in a load of new faces, this is going to be TPTB's biggest gamble yet. I hope that they can pull it off!

          Heck, at this stage in the UK I can't be dead cert that S8 won't fall to S7's hit and miss standard or worse! Babylon 5 certainly got caught short when S5 didn't get confirmed till the last minute.

            It’s the show that doesn’t end, it goes on and on my friends, some people started watching not knowing what it was, but they will be watching forever just because it’s the show that doesn’t end…..
