For those of you who missed Leiasky's recommendation: The World Doesn't Turn by Podbaydoors is excellent--and finished.

I confess that I don't care for stories written in the present tense, but this one was so compelling, that I quickly forgot to be annoyed. The characterizations are first rate and the author doesn't neglect to deal with the consequences of those nasty old regs.

Hello from the author of The Secret Lives of Pandas! I'm pleased you guys enjoyed! I always post as WIP because I often change the direction of stories according to what the fans have to think about what's happening...I'm always as surprized by the ending as everyone else. giggle. I've never started and not finished a story though.
