    I need precise information.

I'm making a Stargate fangame, and I want to make it as accurate as possibly, so as not to peeve the fanatics. I already have the Milky Way gate done, and I'm moving on to the Atlantis gate, which is a bit of a snag.

For the sake of simplicity, let's say that the light that makes a glyph visible is the 'selector'.

From what I understand, the selector starts at where the dialing glyph is normally located on the ring, then it 'moves' the glyph towards the Chevron that is currently being dialed. It then resets to the next glyph and continues.

What confuses me is that this would mean that the Point of Origin would already be lined up with the 7th Chevron, but from what I've seen so far, this isn't true. -Unless, Subido, Atlantis's Point of Origin, isn't lined up with the 7th Chevron... I believe it's Glyph # 15? I can't remember...

This method of dialing also means that there is no 'expansion' of the 7th Chevron upon each Chevron being engaged, right?

I just want to make an accurate game. T_T
Working...
