A Scene Missing

First of all let me say i loved 'The Shrine" and it was easily the best episode of Atlantis this season. But did anyone else think that a scene which would have been nice would be to see exactly when it was discovered McKay was infected and why the rest of the Atlantis team decided that he was ill (eg how far gone would he have had to be before anyone would notice).

It would have been nice to actually see what tipped off the Atlantis team on that something was wrong with McKay instead of jumping right past it.

Well, we did kinda.. It was in the form of Keller admitting that she overlooked the change in McKay because she was somewhat infatuated with his change in attitude towards her (so was maybe willing to think that it was just McKay being forthright and a bit flirty). She realises her mistake when she's talking to Jeannie, and we do see McKay acting in this way ("fruit cup?").


Filling in the blanks is sometimes what makes a storyline that little bit more satisfying, you can imagine the finer details for those bits yourself.
