Silly Stargate Question

Ok, I have to post this, I wasnt going to because I thought it was dumb at first but then a friend said it was cute and even said I use this idea in a fic.

Do you think there has ever been just some normal traveler on there way to some planet or what ever somehow ends up on earth. Meaning when the dialed the gate address to the place they wanted they accidently hit one of the wrong symbols and didnt noticed till they came upon earth.

I know dumb questions but havent you ever wondered. Its kind of like when you call someone and you get a wrong number.

If that happens more then likely they will be killed by the Iris at the SGC. Without a code they will not open the Iris, hence bye bye travellor.

If you wanted to write it you could but you would have to come up with a practical reason that the iris wouldn't be working. Perhaps the SGC was having problems with the systems and the iris wouldn't shut, or it could have been just after the aliens gated out in Foothold when the gateroom had been trashed.

the chances of this happening are a billion to 1 almost, each chevron locks torwards a differnt point, the combination of all of them gives one specific point of intersection, so they would have to be dialing someplace VERY VERY close to earth and as they said before closest was abydos, which even if it wasnt gone was very very far away.
