    They never really explained that. Probably in a later episode they might explain that. Koyla just asked if that guy made it through, and after Sora told him he didn't, he had that sad look to him lol.

    I'm guessing that they guy was probably his son, or the son of that other Genii guy from Underground.

      It was his son. If you listen very closely right after he finds out that the iris has been put up, he goes "Did my son make it through?" The one guy doesn't hear him clearly, so he asks by his son's name.

                            I've just had look the episode above is what he said at this 0:20:46 of the episode duration, therefore it was not his son unless he is “Atho’s”. It could be his brother or friend.

                              I'm guessing that Atho's is Koyla's brother, thus Idos being his nephew.
