'las vegas' i'll miss and 'new amsterdam' my mom will miss. i stopped watching 'lv' because it was on when atlantis was on, and i *had* to watch sam on atlantis!

its a bit of a bummer to find out that some of the shows you might have taken the time to watch with the new season won't be around. Its sad that all of the stations are now going with the attitude of "no big $$ at the beginning ..No deal" no thought to whether or not if it is an actually decent show ... the way of our world nowadays

i remember reading that if it wasn't for nbc really giving 'cheers' a chance to find an audience, it would have been canceled its first year.

networks don't give shows enough chance now. some of those shows i never even heard of.

i barely watched this last season of 'las vegas', and i've not scene one ep with tom selleck. i was hoping nbc would re-air those eps in atlantis' hiatis. networks used to do these things!

not anymore Now its make the $$$ and get out and put it on DVD if you want to see a rerun...which would be great if they were coming up with more, better original programming...but instead...its more crap reality TV

and it generates a ton of $$$$ for the networks.
There was a movie with Arnold Schwartzenegger...called...*Running Man* if I am not mistaken. Where folks watched the contestants basically fight for their lives and won prizes throughout the show. Kind of *Lets Make a Deal meets Gladiators* ....is this actually becoming a case of where life is beginning to imitate art?? I really have to wonder
