We know that the TARDIS gets inside of the companions head and translates speech and writing into english or the main language of the companion but can it work the other way? Can the doctor remotely access the TARDIS databanks and get information from it?

I would think so, given that in The Impossible Planet the Doc. mentions that something is outside the knowledge of the TARDIS. It would also explain how he knows pretty much knows anything he needs to each weekOriginally posted by The Ascended One View Post

the tardis knows everything when it travels the universe even when jack went all immortal it tried to get rid of him
and when the doctor says he sees everything that ever was or will become its possible the tardis maybe gives him some of that information like when they meet a new racesigpicComment
