My wife and I started going through the whole Stargate movie and series two nights ago.

When we were watching "torment of tantulus" I noticed that the Young Ernest is in fact Paul McGillion.

It's hard to tell with the glasses and hair, but it is him. He was the first American to go throught the Stargate.

It's the same actor but not the same character. And he's Scottish, the character was American.
