there were 7 hives but no cruisers. i thought the hives were always escorted by cruisers???

yes i didnt think bout that however the wraith hive leader ppl may have sent them away as the cruisers would stand no chance against the asurans

I'm actually leaning towards the cruisers being exhausted in the Wraith-Asuran war. The Wraith suffered heavy losses, they more than likely sacrificed their cruisers to save their hives.

^ I agree, rather than sending all hives, i think they may have sent their cruisers to protect their ships. But your retreat thing makes more sense
