Ok, this seems a little odd to me, but with the movie set for release in March, I am wondering why there has not been any real promotion for the DVD film?
Sure we have been seeing some promotional pics here and there, and there is that movie poster.....but not releasing a trailer for the film seems a litte suicide as far as marketing strategies go.
I see WB all the time releasing trailers for many of their direct to DVD films, whether it is a animated film or not... I cannot see why MGM is choosing not to do this? Of course they had that nonsense teaser thing on the SG1 season 10 disc set...which was worthless IMO.
* Unless, and this is speculating, they have a marketing ploy to begin plugging the film when Atlantis returns in January...?
