Does anyone know if it is possible to play games bought in the US on a UK console?

I've tried searching online for an answer but I can't find anything. There is info on the compatibility of the downloadable games between the different markets but not on the store purchased games.

its not possible now, there might eventually be a freeloader but i wouldnt hold your breath
