    asurans attacking wraith

at end of the ep, is shows the asurans are launching an armada of ships, heading for the wraith.

so, do you think the asurans are goin to be able 2 defeat the wraith? and do you think they are going to need our help? and if so, should we help them?

yea, ive read the future synopsis, but i thought this board is for just this episode, and not future spoilers.

thats why i asked the questions, for people who have'nt read the future ep's

BUT now you brought it up LOL.

yea, it looks like the asurans are way to much for the asurans to handle, so the question lies in

        1. help wraith defeat asurans, and then fight wraith
        2. deny wraith, let ausrans kill them, then we fight asurans.

        so? ur opinions

I thought it was the otherway around and they don't get all the Wraith on their side either

Too bad we nuked all those ships they built for attacking Earth, otherwise they could be using them to give the Wraith more of a smackdown. Oh well!

It will be interesting to see why the Code was deactivated in the first place, maybe there are issues with it?
why does McKay pronounce it Day-ta and not Data?
Or why loootenant and not lieutenant?

it's the other way around actually - the wraith don't stand a chance. McKay screwed up big time (again :-)

But McKay will never ever ever never ever be held responsible for messing up for the millionth time. I hope Carter will tell him off a few times. Maybe that'll help McKay grow a bit as a character.

my guess is that, other the replicators aggressive nature, an unforseen side effect that happens when the nanites infect the wraith is that the wraith would develop a resistance to the nanites, in time, either thru natural immunity build up, or by the development of a defense by the wraith scientists against the nanites.

rofl terrans vs zerg vs protoss

Except Kerrigan, er... Weir was converted to Protoss instead of Zerg.

I think we team up with the Wraith because of the huge amount of firepower that will be built up by the Asurans and Earth knows what the next target will be once the Wraith are gone

I think the wraith will be able to handle the Asurans just fine. Which is probably why the Ancients didn't activate them against the wraith in the first place. No point in activating a weapon that you realise is obsolete and won't do any damage. Also what happened to the PWARW's that were being developed? The Asuran homeworld would be a great thing to capture if at all possible.

When the Wraith Scientist is working with Mckay, he mentions that the Wraith had found a way to disable the nanites and Mckay had basically turned them back on. This might be why the Asurans were neutral for 10,000 years.

The attack directive in the base code was shutdown by the Wraith because they knew that they couldn't defeat the Asurans. Choking their aggression towards them and keeping them neutral is far easier than fruitlessly fighting them.
