    That immortal plastic bird...

    How many times do people need to be told before they get it: the "plastic turkey" story was a bloody fabrication!

    Just another illustration of how many people believe sensationalist rubbish, and how few read the corrections page.
    If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions.- Abba Eban.

          Well, people keep citing it in conversations and articles and such, so I guess they do care.

            LOL! I love the plastic turkey stories and references that persist to this day. They make for great laughs...as in people are stupid enough to perpetuate the story.

            The blogger Tim Blair keeps up with the fake turkey sightings....and apparently there has been a flurry of them lately....
            IMO always implied.
