One of the cast of Torchwood may have let a cat or two out of the bag:

I'm glad about both of these, particularly the first because although I'm not one of those who expected all the answers in the first episode, or even the first season, I was extremely annoyed at the way we learnt nothing about his past that was pertinent to what we already knew. The fact that he was a 'temporal agent', and wanted to know why his memory was wiped, was totally ignores in season one. It was as though the Captain Jack of Dr Who and the Captain Jack of Torchwood were two totally different characters.

I thought we already knew this? I think people mentioned it in the News section or the Torchwood ep discussion section, it may have even appeared on the site, anyway I hardly think it is a suprise, have you seen that pic?

Sorry I was under the impression that he had only just mentioned it (I knew he was going to be in it, but not what he was playing, and was not aware that cat was already out of the bag, I just got the email from Google this morning).
