    Default Good gaming computer

Im thinking of buying a gaming computer and want to know what would be good specs and what brand I should buy. My budget could go up to 2000usd. If any one knows any good gaming computers please tell me what you think I should get.

Intel Q6600 G0 revision. the G0 uses less power, runs cooler and its better for overclocking (good cooling system if you want to overclock is a must. scythe ninja is prime)
P35x chipset mobo (gigabyte and asus make some good ones. key thing about the p35 chipset is that it has ddr2/ddr3 support and support for 45nm cpu's means it will work with the current cost effective stuff and the future stuff when it comes available)
DDR2 ram (not ddr3, price not worth it for performance. 4gb if you're gonna use a 64bit OS)
nVidia 8800GTX. dont sli, its not worth it.
GOOD QUALITY psu (dont go for a yum-cha/dodgy psu. silverstone are good. 750w up but this will depend on how many extra stuff you put in)
Case with good airflow. Antec 900 is pretty popular atm.
SATAII hdd/optical drives. no PATA/IDE drives

also, do NOT buy a 'brand' name computer. they are ****. go to a local computer store (or one you can ring up/order over internet and get them to deliver to you), get them to order in the parts and build for you or order the parts and build it yourself. You'll save money and get a much better PC.
