Musical Education Program

I found out some pretty shocking news last week as I was leaving work. We're actually losing languages at an alarming rate (multiple languages per year). Along with those languages go cultures, and in the process, their musical styles. As many of you know, I'm a big music guy, and even though I'm not into world music so much, I know a lot of you are into more diverse music than I am, so this may be of interest to you as well. In an effort to save the dying musical styles of these cultures, a company called Listen For Life is spreading the word to as many people as possible. All our goal is is to let people know this is happening (mainly because of MTV). Our hope is that you'll be able to do something about it. Tell all your friends that MTV is killing world music off.
