    Best Cartoon Tournament

Welcome to the Best Cartoon Tournament where we will determine our favourite cartoons!!

The Tournament will be split into 2 parts and cover animated series on TV, animated series covers puppets (eg. Thunderbirds) and stop motion (eg. Wallace & Gromit or Gumby). This is for series only so no specials, feature films or shorts (I'll do one for shorts later (eg individual Merrie Melodies, Looney Tunes etc) if people want me to). I will now be holding another 2 tournaments in addition to these two. They will be for animated shorts and then one for animated movies and specials.

All rules and updates to the status of the Tourney will be done here in the first post so check it frequently.

    TOURNAMENT I - Completed
    TOURNAMENT II - Completed
    TOURNAMENT III - Starting soon
TOURNAMENT IV - to be announced

Vote for your 1 least favourite cartoons. The cartoon with the highest votes is then taken out of the Tourney. There will be no tie breakers until the last 20 toons are left, any ties before then will result in more than one toon being eliminated.

As long as I recognise some of the cartoons, i'm in regardless of the splitting or whatever. So, yeah. Just count me in.

If I don't know the cartoon I am sure I can ask my mom But either way I think if fine...all in one or split in two. Both sound good to me

I am in for sure, and even if I hardly know any cartoons from the states, this still will be fun And I would say keep it with one tourney...I mean if you don't know it, you can google it or youtube it

          Yay! A new tourney.

I don't mind it remaining one tourney, rather than split it up.

If the youngsters don't know the cartoons, I'll just point and laugh.

I think a single one is fine, but I wouldn't be opposed to it being split in two but you are the one doing the work so.......I'll let the final decision lie with you.
            IMO always implied.

You might be better off separating it into parts. As one tourney, it's probably going to have way more options that you want to deal with at once.

                  I'm for splitting it up.
I'm pretty much an older cartoon snob. actually I pretty much a WB cartoon snob. But I'll see what happens.

I was thinking of making a Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies only tourney, but I'm too lazy to want to actually being in charge of a tourney.

Hmm--if you were to split it up, I'd think splitting up between cartoon shorts (the three or four minute cartoons) and the longer ones (half hour cartoons).

Really, though, I'm in for whatever and don't have a preference.

I am so blessed! Cherriey made this cool sig; scarimor made this great Dr. Lee smilie and Spudster made another neat one Dr. Lee RULES!
