No he was a character, but the first link just didn't mention Panthro.

Thanks, I don't remember him at all but " in his aged condition, he did not survive the trip to Third Earth" That might be why.

Jaga would sometimes appear as a ghost. Kind of like Obi Wan.

If they do a decent job of it I think it would do ok.

Speaking of 80s shows going onto the big screen aren't they supposed to be doing a Visionaries film as well?

Thanks to Copter for the Sig and Avi!!!

Oh, I'm sure they'll come up with something pretty horrible. IMO, they shouldn't try and "improve" it too much.

Who would you cast in the movie?
    My picks:

    Panthro- Michael Clark Duncan
    Cheetara-Cameron Diaz/Drew Barrymore
    Tigra-Richard Dean Anderson
Lion-O- Vin Diesel (with a wig)
    Wiley Kit-Billy Boyd?
    Wiley Kat-Dakota Fanning
    Mum Ra-Arnold Schwarzenegger
    Slithe- Danny De Vito
    Monkeon-Jim Carrey
    Snarf-CGI

I'd like to see everyone's ideas.

I was digging around on GW for this thread. I recently saw some Thundercats "posters" on Facebook. I did a little digging on IMDB and Thundercats is listed as "in development." But the posters looked pretty good.

I did a little more digging...and apparently it has been in development for 10 years now. Heck...Wonder Woman was in development since 1997...and 20 years later we finally got the movie. Maybe Thundercats will happen before we're too senile to enjoy it!
