    EPISODE NUMBER - 318

Juliet offers Sun a chance to find out who her baby's father is, but with a personal catch. Desmond, Charlie, Jin, and Hurley must rely on an enemy to save the life of an unknown woman who has parachuted onto the island -- and who brings a startling revelation about Flight 815.

So, anyone still want to say I was wrong to think waking up naked with Jae was a strong implication that they had sex?

The implication from this episode seems to be that a single round of nookie is highly likely to result in pregnancy. Wonder if Ana Lucia and Shannon were pregnant when they died, it would have been too early to suspect it though.

Seems they either know, or at least strongly suspect Kate is carrying Sawyer's kid.

And eye-patch guy back from the dead, followed by the strong implication that even the "survivors" of the crash may have been brought back similarly, wow. Although for that to be true, someone, or "the island" would have had to duplicate the plane as well. Definately interested in where this is going now.

Went to TheFuselage to get a translation of what the parachutist said to Patchy (when he said she was thanking them). She told him, in Portugese, "I am not alone."

I don't think so at all.

Mikhail's alive. Awesome. But I'm so confused now as to what this all means.

It's almost impossible to give this episode a fair rating without seeing what comes out of these revelations. So I remain neutral at the moment about the whole thing, especially about the ending.

I KNEW IT! I knew the baby would be Jin's. And I suspected that Kate was impregnated at the compound, too.

I was surprised - and relieved - to learn that only nine women have attempted pregnancy on the island in the three years Julliette has been a captive there.

Remember how Kate's wrists were in pretty bad shape when she was escorted to her cage? The show never addressed that, but I figure that she was forced to keep an appointment with the gynecologist....

Right away I thought of all the bodies that have been buried on that island in the past three months.... Some obviously stay dead (all the dead bodies in the plane, "Adam and Eve" from the caves, the detective whose decomposing corpse Kate and Jack dug up, the drug dealers in their small plane) but are some possibly experiencing something similar to that Goa'uld dude in The Tomb, who was locked into the sarc with a creature who ate him every time the sarc healed him? Are they reviving just to suffocate? <shudders>

So, Helicopter girl tells eyepatch guy that she's not alone.... Strange thing to tell him, unless she knows him and is on his side.

A Cherokee elder sitting with his grandchildren told them,
"In every life there is a terrible fight – a fight between two wolves.
One is evil: he is fear, anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity,
resentment, and deceit. The other is good: joy, serenity, humility,
confidence, generosity, truth, gentleness, and compassion."
A child asked, "Grandfather, which wolf will win?"
The elder looked the child in the eye. "The one you feed."

              .
i wondered about that. or if 'something' else happened that she definitely fought against. she and that one captive dude definitely shared some 'i hate you' looks

refresh my memory though...how long was sun gone for? was she long enough for them to have done something with her? such as invitro? could the child have been conceived on the island certainly, just not by jin?

When was Sun gone, I don't remember that. I remember Charlie dragging her into the woods, but that's all I can remember.

Sun was never taken.... Charlie and Sawyer made it look like the others in some power play for the guns/ drugs as I recall.

But awesome ending made me think WTF at the end though

I doubt she will die soon, the way this show handles time 2 months equals 2 seasons (as 90 odd days is equal to 3 seasons give or take )

im thinking the most logical explanation for the plane being found with no survivors is some kind of cover up i mean the others could be capable or have the contacts to fake a crashed plane and no survivors i doubt the corpses from a plane crash would be recogniseable if a plane was found the search would stop and nonone would try to find the island

She was "gone" about 12 seconds. She was never taken, just dragged by Charlie.

Pretty sure that was just from the bindings on her wrists.

Sorry, I must have mis-communicated again.

I didn't mean to imply that Sun was taken and manipulated by the others. I expect that early on Sun and Jin indulged in some unbounded domesticity in their little beachfront lean to.

I just meant to say that my suspicions about Kate getting preggers was right, too. I figure she was impregnated while in captivity, rather than earlier. What I'm not sure of is how she got pregnant(assuming she actually is)Sure, she could be carrying Sawyer's kid, and they'd probably play that angle for quite some time, but she could have been artificially inseminated as well. I wouldn't put it past the writers.

So is eye patch guy back from the dead or did he just fake his own death that day with the "electrified fence" cuz he knew it was the only way to get out of that situation? Think about it...All we know for sure is that it keeps the black smoke out. We never see anyone else go through while it was activated...
