With the destruction of Ra Supreme System Lord of the Goa'uld by the hands of the Tau'ri the power vacuum has begun to destabilize the System Lords as thy fight for power among themselves. The Goa'uld are still the most powerful Faction in the Milky Way, they hold many worlds under their dominion but the greed of the System Lords will only cause them to seek out new worlds to add to their dominion.
The benevolent Asgard have protected several planets in the Milky Way from Goa'uld attack. The Goa'uld have been held at bay in fear of the superior Asgard Technology but now a new enemy threatens the very existence of the Asgard. In the Ida Galaxy the Asgard battle this new threat called the Replicators. The Replicators are bent on the procreation of their race, their is little known of how to effectively defeat them. With the Replicators on the horizon, many of the Asgard resources are devoted to the war with them. The Asgard are a formidable ally for the Tau'ri but no relations have been made as of yet. The Asgard may find the Tau'ri an ally in the fight with the Replicators.
The Tau'ri stand at the threshold of a new universe, unexplored, mysterious, dangerous and fruitful. The SGC has begun full operations to explore the Milky Way. The strength of the Tau'ri should not be underestimated. They are clever and brave to the last.
The age of Stargate Oblivion is wrought with danger yet with even in the darkest of days hope remains. Can the Asgard defeat this rising evil? Will the Wraith cover the Pegasus Galaxy in darkness? Will a new System Lord take up the mantle of Supreme System Lord and dominate the Milky Way? Can the Tau'ri survive and change the fate of doom into hope for all?
