Does anyone know the history of the black and white photo that all the Viper Pilots touch on the way out of the briefing room? I saw this a few times in the first season. Thanks.....

It's explained in a deleted scene from 33. The picture is of a soldier on Aerelon on top of their capital building, kneeling because he is either shot or overcome by emotion, as the Cylon attack hits. The title is "Lest We Forget". -
