the battlestar pegasus is galactica's answer to samantha carter spoilers for season 2

think about it the battlestar pegasus is exactly the same as samantha carter

every man she has fallen in love with has died except for pete shanahan

almost every commander the pegasus has had so far has been murdered or have died in the performance of their duties

admiral cain murdered by number 6
commander fisk murdered by black market thugs
commander gardner died due to lack of oxygen

If you have in your possession an Sg-1 episode where Carter falls in love with Michelle Forbes/Cain you will give it to me, NOW.

What about previous Captains before we see Pegasus in BSG?
Or was she just commisioned and the Admiral was given 1st command?
Science Fiction is an existential metaphor; it allows us to tell stories about the human condition.

Isaac Asimov once said individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today, but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

Cain built the battlestar pegasus herself out of an old log and her RAGE.
