He gives you one chance. If you don't take it, you will pay.
Anyway, I thought the Queen was done by the same actress who played Augra in The Dark Crystal. She wasn't.

The spider lady reminded me of the wire, annoying.

The question which once haunted my being has been answered. The future is not fixed, and my choices are my own... and yet, how ironic! For I now find, I have no choice at all! I am warrior... let the battle be joined.-Dinobot-Code of Hero
Don't blame me, I voted Cthulhu
OK it's been shown in America, too.
DT's Doctor is in for a great deal of frustration with Donna. She didn't really do anything but scream and boss him around-- in Martha's first episode
Maybe the Doctor needs someone to make tea?
At the beginning of this thread there are quite a few posts where people say they're glad she's not a companion. Hmmmmmm.
"That's what you get for dicking around"--Col. Jack O'Neill
Time will tell. I imagine she's done a fair bit of growing up between then and now (whenever "now" will be).
Frankly I think it's kinda fun to have someone around who argues with the Doctor. It'll make a refreshing change from the lovestruck obedience of Rose and Martha. ...Unless Donna's come down with the same disease they had. *sigh*
Donna was supposed to be from Chiswick which is West London (I was actually born there but lived most of my life under the flightpath at Heathrow.) Her accent's not spot on for West London but near as dammit
That was one damned weird freaky episode that doesn't seem to have been aired in the UK as its not on the BBC website's Doctor Who episode list
Umm... it was definitely aired in the UK. Don't know how the BBC labels their eps, but this might count as a "Christmas Special" rather than an actual series ep. *shrug* Or you just missed it.
WE LOVE YOU, DONNA!!!!!!You were a great companion even from the very beginning!
I really love to watch this episodes..Truly this episode is Batter than Last Year..
this was a great episode and donna was ok as a companion of the doctor
I have been looking in the whole of the Doctor Who forum but I can't find the post, but didn't someone comment on the Doctor making it snow to show off in front of Donna and that the TARDIS taking off vertically was some weird symbolism....
I keep feeling I read that here on gateworld
really i got the showing off thing but i didn't know the other thing that's interesting
I rewatched this episode again last night. After series four I seemed to enjoy it a lot more
Hiya, new to this thread *waves* I loved the makeup on the spiderlady, she looked a bit like my ex mother in law Seriously, though, I could (and do) watch this epi over and over again, it's a bit scary even for me and I'm always half expecting the Doctor to let her drown this time. Almost an edge of the seat 'go on!!!!'
What I love was the interaction at the start. When Donna first appears in the TARDIS the "what' and then he explains "you're in the TARDIS" and she goes "the what" It was just so brilliantly done.
I guess when she had those particles injected into her via the coffee, that's how she became Doctor Donna. There's a line to that effect.
But why does Doctor who use terms like "creation" ie: "you're the most important woman in creation" and when they were at the Shadow Proclamation someone I think tells her that she's something new in creation?
great episode fantastic even and doctor who most probably says creation because she is the only one she was the only key and the only doctor Donna. it also sounds impressive
