Personally i don't think that the PS3 is worth the money let alone standing in line for it. But i was in line for 12hours for a Xbox 360 and i got the 70th one out of 74, and i got there at 9pm the night before it came out. So just get there early, real early!

Isn't the PS3 supposed to cost more than the XBOX or upcoming Nintendo Wii? (forgive me if it has already, I haven't had the net for awhile).

Anyone who buys a PS3 is an idiot. What a complete waste of money. SONY has screwed up so big this year.

Anyway, from what I've heard in the news is that SONY won't have hardly any units ready for the release date and christmas season.
What's been said is that most stores will only be given 8, yes count 'em 8, units. Two of those 8 will be able to be purchased by employees - that leaves 6 PS3s to be bought per store.
