Hello Campers,

Thought I would introduce myself properly in the dedicated section of the forum

I'm Oxy_Moron, I've been a fan of Stargate for a long time but I'm a fairly new active member of the fandom.

I also write fanfictions. Sometimes. I actually have a bunch of unfinished works that need my attention but my muse has been in hiding for a few years now. So I nurture my love for languages and words and writing by translating other author's work into my mother tongue. Which is as much work as writing the original stuff, I tell you (yes, I'm pretty serious about the role of the translator in the modern world).

Other than that, there isn't much to say about me. I just hope I'll be able to share w/ all of you my obsession w/ Jack 'oh my god look at him' O'Neill.

Welcome to the BBQ -- I mean, forum!

I have translator friend who has done GRR Martin, Neil Gaiman, ... and his latest is a story with a dragon on the cover but I forgot the author. He's also translated the biographies of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

Oh my... maybe I wasn't clear enough. I translate fics for fun. Not my day job. Though I have to confess my day job is not very different from that. But I definitely don't translate "real" books!
