Sheppard is most definitely thunkworthy, but it's the character in combination with Flanigan that does it for me. Charming and witty, but also very caring towards the people around him. Plus, there's a part of him that's unpredictable, which I really like. Flanigan just adds that little something extra to all of his scenes.

Sheppard's my favorite character on Atlantis, just as Daniel is on SG1. In fact, I'm gonna go add him to my profile right now.
