Cool! I liked those original ones. The newer one I didn't care much for, but the orginals were good.

I absolutely hated thsoe movies, they were stupid, terrible graphics. I know the movies are old but hte story was to repetitive

Seen most of the movies, read the book, which while will most likely be found with the most recent Planet of the Apes movie plastered on the front, as if intended to be mistaken for some cheaply written adaptation of it. I used to like these movies (in the sense I'd watch them when on) but then I took a science fiction course. Now I just don't get the appeal.

What's real funny is that these movies were at the center of that course.

The two I remember are Blade Runner and the early Frankenstein. The professor was a A Planet of the Apes fan I guess. We read some good science fiction, my favorite was "The Left Hand of Darkness" but I did NOT like the Planet of the Apes book. The protagonist was a bit more intelligent than Heston's, but other than that...

*skims list* Hah, I read Brave New World. Ooh Farscape!
