12th Planet is a book by Sitchin, the planet called Nibiru(Planet X), that collided with Tiamat (Pre-Earth), the collision created Earth and the Moon. This writer translated actual tablets from the Sumerians. theory isnt bad at all. In the original stories written down on the tablets, the Annunaki (creatures from Nibiru) where interested in Earth because Earth and the Moon where created when colliding with their planet some time ago. They were considered 'gods' because they live 3600 times longer than us and so they seemed immortal to us. We were created after their image. So this is similair as the Ancients in some ways yes.
It is too bad some Science Fiction fans don't read interesting stuff like the books of Sitchin a.o. theories etc (some do that i know of, but not all). Then they would like my ideas and then they would connect those to the stargate series.
The fact that, I knows about Nibiru is good too bad few people can do something with the subject
