The real Godzilla right? Not that fake American "Godzilla" that the Japanese call Zilla.

Godzilla dies in like every other movie, it's no big deal.

I think Godzilla is the only thing to have died more than Daniel of Stargate.

    ^ LOL!

I just had to reply to this thread! My little brother went through a major Godzilla phase when he was about 8, so we have almost all of the old movies. My favorite is Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth.

I'd love to get the old Godzilla movies! I got the original on DVD *YAY* - but its in japanese with subtittles...damn my lack of patience with subtitles.

Wish I could see Final Wars (Was that it?) The LAST G-Man movie.

I thought Godzilla 2000 was the most recent although I could definately be wrong. I saw it in theater and got a free movie poster (which is still hanging on my wall). I haven't really kept up with the Godzilla universe since then.

Yeah Godzilla 2000 (Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster) was the third to last I think. I think there is Godzilla 2000, some other one, and then Godzilla Final Wars.

Final Wars is the last, for atleast 13 years, they are taking a long break because of the lack of fandom, there arent enough godzilla fans for new movies to be made, but i think if they made a godzilla movie (a japanese one) with the monsters and special effect created with advanced cgi, they could get more fans

    NO!!!

It needs to be a guy in a suit otherwise it's not Godzilla!

Plus I have seen one Godzilla that used a nice blend of bad CGI and Godzilla suit.

And after every Godzilla movie of the last 10-15 years they say it's the last and then a year later they make a new one.

Oh, so cool. I grew up on Godzilla and all those movies.

Okay, I am not that old, we had a TVstation when I was growing up that dedicated some time every weekend to show Sci-fi classics.

    This is so cool.........

i mostly agree with you, but times are changing, and the new generations wont even glance at a film with a guy in a dinosaur suit, i love the originals, but i wouldnot mide if Toho made a cgi godzilla movie with godzilla retaning his current appearance, not like that stupid one made by Dean Devilen
