Movies you are compelled to watch

Are there any movies that you just have to watch every single time you see them on TV. I not talking Stargate or Starwars or something so OMFG that was AWESOME type movies (although I guess they would count) but I am specifically talking about the odd silly little movie that you find oddly compelling.

For instance OVERBOARD is on right now. I have no idea why, but every time that show is on I feel like watching it. Totally silly movie, nothing "cool" no actors I just "love" (well I do like Roddy), just nothing other then its a simple little movie. Maybe thats it, takes no brain power to watch it.

Other movies that I can think of off the top of my head are.
Trading Places (best chirstmas movie ever )
    Replacements (best football movie )

Recently I-Robot is on my list but I think its because it does in fact look OMFG AWESOME on my HDTV. But I even watch it when its on a non HD HBO channel so not sure its just the HD thats drawing me in.

Anyone else got any movies that strike them this way? Or am I just wierd? (note the question is in regards to this specific topic and not a general commentary on my personality)bububububububbubububuuu
Joseph Mallozzi -"In the meantime, I'm into season 5 of OZ (where the show takes an unfortunate hairpin turn into "the not so wonderful world of fantasy")"

^^^ Kinda sounds like seasons 9 and 10 of SG-1 to me. Thor, ya got Aspirin?

AGateFan has officially Gone Fishin (with Jack, Sam, Daniel, Teal'c) and is hoping Atlantis does not take that same hairpin turn.

Usually comedys. Anything with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Will Farrel. They all make me laugh.

Movies like Zooland, Starsky and Hutch, Shanghai Noon/Knights, Old School... ect.

Dramas I usually watch once and never see them again.

Gotta admit it - I was home with the flu for three weeks and must have watched time out of mind on HBO and Showtime:
                Independence Day
                I, Robot
                Day After Tomorrow
                Hunt for Red October

got to the point that I could fall asleep and wake up at any point and know exactly the next line!

Yea, I can watch Mummy all the time.
Another one I forgot is Demolition Man. I dont know why, I am not a Stallone fan (though Snipes and Bullock are cool) but every time that is on I can sit and watch it and be entertained. It makes the time go by fast.

                          Three Amigos...

not a great film, not a sit down and watch film, but a good in the background, glance at it, wait for the funny stuff.....

Would you say we have a plethora of choices here?

                          What is theese plethora?

Random guy: "Excuse me sir, what seems to be your boggle?"
                            Wesley Snipes: "My BOGGLE?!"

                            AMAZING!!!!

It's been a while, alright! I can't remember their names, cut me some slack!

Are we talking like those kinds of films that you can't buy on DVD cos you'll ruin them but can only watch on TV? Cos if that's the case, Air Force One's gotta be up there along with Goldeneye, most Connery, Moore and a couple of the Dalton Bond films... Classics.

I forgot, I feel compelled to watch The Two Towers and Return of the King. The Fellowship doesn't do anything for me. No huge battles but the first.
