SG1- S9 / Atlantis S2 viewing order

Just about to start watching these two seasons (well actually watched a couple of eps last night), and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what order to watch them in so that things make chronological sense. Cheers.

I think the best way to do it is to watch the episodes in the order they aired. Watch the first episode of SG1, and then the first of SGA, etc. Just alternate between the shows. Check the Gateworld episode guide to get the exact dates.

Hmm, would rather not do that as it means splitting up multi-part stories and I prefer to watch in blocks of 2 or 3 episodes at a time.

To re-phrase then, are there any episodes that watching prior to episodes in the other series will result in spoiling it?
