    My Hero Discussion/Appreciation

This thread is about a British Sticom about a superhero, called Thermoman who lives on earth. It is very very funny and is one the few comedies that actually make me LAUGH OUT LOUD.
    Spoiler:

    Memorable Quotes
I just watched the one where George loses his memory and there is an asteriod heading towards earth, so here is some quotes from there

News Reader: Earlier today scientists spotted an asteriod that has unexpectedly changed course and is heading towards Earth, it will hit in 24 hours killing all life, more on that story later but now the weather!
Weather Man: Today it is very sunny but tomorrow it will be a very dark and we will have winds of up to 14000mph

BBC man who announces whats on the TV: In light of todays events we will be no longer showing the Bruce Willis Thriller Armageddon, instead with have a night of comedy with One Foot in the Grave, Till death do us Part and They Think it's All Over!

Come on, I can't be the only GateHead who Likes My Hero!

I've only caught a few random episodes on PBS. Last night George joined the neighborhood watch and began narking on everyone for even the smallest infractions of the law. And then his son flew off to take entrance tests to Ultron university, against his wife's wishes.

        I love that British humor.

Probably why I became a huge Douglas Adams fan.

I love this show! My favorite episode I've seen so far is the one with the Time Tunnels of Tartarus.
What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about?

          Spoiler:
I made a big decision a little while ago.
I don't remember what it was, which prob'ly goes to show
That many times a simple choice can prove to be essential
Even though it often might appear inconsequential.

I must have been distracted when I left my home because
Left or right I'm sure I went. (I wonder which it was!)
Anyway, I never veered: I walked in that direction
Utterly absorbed, it seems, in quiet introspection.

For no reason I can think of, I've wandered far astray.
And that is how I got to where I find myself today.
