ancient warship tech

Anybody here wonder what kind of tech an aurora class battleship has: weapons, power source, shield type, sublight speed, hyperdrive speed, other tech, hull composition, and etc... I have really wondered about this kind of stuff, especially how drones penetrate shields. Do not put obvious information like it has drones because we al\ready know that.

Yes, I think about that.. However we know almost nothing and probably we will see auroras shields, hyperdrive only on season 3. And there are many threads like this....

That's why we speculate(guess) about this kind of stuff.

There are many obvious features on aurora class ships that indicates that it should have many other advanced technologies. In terms of weapons alone one of the most obvious is the big arse cannon like structures on the side of the ship. Another is the smaller turret guns that line the hull which are clearly visible in that shot when its zooming in on the orion.

They certainly can't operate the ship, do they even have the gene needed to run the technology?

It's possible. It was never stated in the show, but they seemed to be able to operate the ancient control systems in their facility.
