Make music videos on the Mac

Wich programs do I nead to make music video's on the Mac? I have MacTheRipper to rip my dvd's and than I have a program to convert VOB files into m2v (or something like that) but iMovie can't read M2v files!! Please help me!! It's driving me crazy!!!!

I'm not an expert on Macs but I think Quicktime Pro should be able to convert M2V to iMovie-compatible formats.

Tried that, didn't work, or I did something wrong but Quicktime couldn't open M2V's...

Okay, I've found the solution and it's realy easy:

Rip dvd's with MacTheRipper:

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22715
or
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/14414

and convert the VOB files to Mpeg4 files in FFmpegX:

http://homepage.mac.com/major4/

Simpel, free and completely legal.
