Ronan's Gun vs Intar (Goa'uld Stun Guns)

I was watching the episode: "Rules of Engagement" a Season 3 episode of SG1.

If you guys noticed the Intar that Teal'c describes, it looks exactly as Ronan's gun. Tealc also turns the gun and you can see the same red glow as Ronan's gun. The shot also has a shock like ronan's gun.

Why haven't they used these guns in SG1. I guess they can't now since Ronan's gun looks exactly as these "intar"

They're good for non-lethal force, but hey; zats are still better.

well for his stun setting, but it also has a kill setting. but intar looks like a burst of kinetic energy, but ronons gun gives a electrical burst or some sort that is clearly visible becuase it encompases the targets body.
Their white flags are no match to our guns!!
